PeopleConnect has always believed in the power of diversity and inclusion, especially in fields where women have been traditionally underrepresented. In line with this vision, we hosted the TruthFinder Women in STEM Scholarship essay contest, inviting talented young women to share their thoughts on why a career in STEM inspires them. We are thrilled to announce the winner of this prestigious scholarship and congratulate her on her remarkable achievement.

The winner of the TruthFinder Women in STEM Scholarship, and the recipient of the $2,500 award, is Grace Sudarman! Her exceptional essay stood out among a pool of almost 1,000 applicants. Grace Sudarman

Grace says that this award is “not just financial support; it's a validation of my passion and potential. This award will alleviate some of the financial burden of my education, allowing me to focus more on my studies and research. It's a boost of confidence and motivation that reminds me that I belong in the STEM field and can make a difference.” Her essay submission highlighted the importance of gender equality in STEM and shed light on the unique perspectives and contributions that women bring to these disciplines. Her words resonated with our team of judges, demonstrating her commitment to forging new paths for future generations of women in STEM.

Grace says that she “aspires to break down barriers and shatter stereotypes in STEM. I want to be a role model for young girls, showing them that they too can excel in these fields. This scholarship fuels my dream of making groundbreaking contributions in the world of technology and science, specifically with the hopes of dedicating my education to innovative research, medicine, and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups of people.”

The TruthFinder Women in STEM Scholarship contest has been an incredible platform to honor and uplift the next generation of women leaders in STEM. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the participants who shared their personal stories, ambitions, and aspirations. Congratulations once again to Grace for winning the TruthFinder Women in STEM Scholarship contest. This scholarship is just the beginning of her journey, and we cannot wait to witness the great things she will accomplish.
