Behind the Scenes: PeopleConnect at Affiliate Summit East

The PeopleConnect affiliate marketing team recently traveled to New York City to attend the biggest affiliate marketing event on the East Coast, Affiliate Summit East. Over the course of two days, Lexi and Scott — members of our affiliate team — connected with industry leaders, explored opportunities to enhance our programs, and met with potential and established partners.

Affiliate marketing is a key part of our overall marketing strategy at PeopleConnect. Advertising through this style of marketing fosters partnerships where affiliates promote our products in exchange for a commission on generated sales. Affiliates also help potential customers by providing information and discounts on products.

We’ve cultivated strong relationships with over 100 vetted partners, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed. This strategy has been instrumental to PeopleConnect’s growth, contributing significantly to our overall revenue.

This year’s Affiliate Summit East offered numerous networking opportunities and featured keynote speakers from companies such as Google®, New York Post®, and Bankrate®. The event saw record-breaking attendance — a sign that brands are recognizing affiliates’ power in today’s marketing landscape. Many companies were present to establish or expand their affiliate programs.

In addition to the planned summit events and sessions, networking was a major highlight of the event for PeopleConnect’s team. Lexi and Scott had the opportunity to connect with industry peers, explore potential partnerships, and discuss best practices. This included reconnecting with key partners like money.com and top10.com.

While in the Big Apple, PeopleConnect was also able to meet with our TruthFinder advertising partners at the Law&Crime network in their Manhattan office. TruthFinder is a major sponsor for many of Law&Crime’s popular podcast channels including Sidebar, Interrogations, BodyCam, Crime Fix, Prime Crime, Trial Live Streams, and more. Most recently, we sponsored their live stream of Alec Baldwin’s trial.

Our affiliate team was also able to celebrate a special milestone with Black Lion Group: 14 years of partnership! Lexi and Scott treated them to a special dinner and some exclusive merchandise from our Decade Club, reserved for those who have been working with us for over a decade. Relationships like the ones with Black Lion Group and Law&Crime help strengthen our affiliate program and pave the way for future growth.
